National Signage Research and Education Conference Focuses on Technology Related to Signage

Alexandria, VA – July 26, 2012

The fourth annual National Signage Research and Education Conference (NSREC), slated for Oct. 10-11 in Cincinnati, will focus on the technology of signage. Those attending will have an opportunity to hear the latest scientific findings on the topic and interact with the researchers.

The event is open to a wide array of interested parties, including sign companies and suppliers, end users, and codes and planning officials.

“NSREC is always an informative experience for us,” said Lori Anderson, president and CEO of International Sign Association. “We have found that the fact-based research developed through NSREC and discussed at the event helps us significantly throughout the year in advocating on behalf of our industry.”

The event is sponsored by the Signage Foundation, Inc. (SFI) in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati Colleges of Business and Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). The two-day event takes place at the Kingsgate Marriott adjacent to the UC campus.
