In December 2018, the Omni Charlotte Hotel completed a spectacular $30 Million re-imagination, the first major renovation in the 41 year history of the hotel. All guest rooms, public space, and outlets have been redesigned, including the addition of a new rooftop pool side bar, named Coin Bar, great for large receptions and events. The Omni Charlotte Hotel envelopes you in ultimate comfort with a signature touch of genuine North Carolina hospitality. This luxury hotel sparkles in the heart of Charlotte’s financial district and is 2.5 blocks from the Charlotte Convention Center and many of the city’s other cultural and entertainment highlights. Located at the corners or Trade St and Tryon St, the hotel is linked to 12 city blocks via sky bridge, the Omni Charlotte Hotel is moments away from the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Discovery Place, and the Charlotte Convention Center.

Dr. Rebecca Homkes

Dr. Rebecca Homkes is a high-growth strategy specialist and CEO and executive advisor. She is a Lecturer at the London Business School, Faculty at Duke Corporate Executive Education, and a former fellow at the London School of Economics Centre for Economic Performance. A global keynote speaker and recognized thought leader, she is also the global Faculty Director of the Active Learning Program with the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), leads several fintech accelerators, and serves on the Boards of many high-growth companies. She earned her doctorate at the London School of Economics as a Marshall Scholar and is now based in Miami, San Francisco, and London, UK.

Jay Kiew

Jay Kiew is a change navigation strategist and world-renowned keynote speaker with more than
13 years of strategy and human capital experience. He has created more than $2B of impact for
400+ executives by designing, developing, and delivering organizational transformation, but his
story extends far beyond the professional arena. Kiew is a half-blind cancer survivor, whose life
is a testament to resilience in the face of adversity. His remarkable blend of professional
expertise and personal resilience equips leaders to hack through the thick of change and
disruption.


Kiew spent his corporate career working at Deloitte, TELUS, and ADP, where he led mission-
critical strategic transformations. This included a $150-million primary care health policy
reform, $13-million tech transformations, doubling app users from 1 to 2 million, and scaling 15
product lines to $35 million in 12 months.


At the age of 19, Kiew became the world’s youngest Distinguished Toastmaster. He has since
been featured in the Financial Times, Globe and Mail, Financial Post, Ivey Business Journal,
Change Leadership, and more. He also sits on the Project Management Institute’s Board of
Directors for the Canadian West Coast Chapter.


Kiew holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School and is a Prosci-certified PMP and Insights
psychometric practitioner.

11:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.Golf tournament at Olde Sycamore Golf course. Bus leaves the hotel at 12:00 pm and the tournament starts with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
2:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.Comedy bus tour of Charlotte and happy hour. Join a local comedian as they highlight the sights of the Queen City and surrounding areas on a Funny Bus Tour. The Funny Bus rolls through all the cool hip neighborhoods surrounding and including Uptown, such as the NoDa Art District, Historic South End and the zany Plaza Midwood. The comedian/tour guide on the bus will not only fill guests in on history of the Queen City but also do stand up comedy, improv jokes, get the guests involved with games, music and fun! Laugh and relax as the comedian shares history, jokes, improv and more on this hilarious one hour tour. A happy hour will follow the tour.
