Midwest-ISA Sign Show Offers Opportunities to Make Important Connections

Alexandria, VA – June 11, 2012

Networking, education, and a tabletop exhibit hall make the Midwest-ISA Sign Show the place for the sign industry to connect this fall. The show, co-sponsored by the Midwest Sign Association and the International Sign Association, is Oct. 12-13 at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit.

“A regional sign tabletop exhibit event like the Midwest-ISA Sign Show provides a terrific opportunity for sign companies to network with their peers,” said Dee Scott, Midwest Sign Association’s executive director. “At the same time, attendees can see firsthand what the industry suppliers have to offer in the way of new products and diversification ideas. Seminars on subjects such as how to increase sign sales and how to accurately estimate prices for jobs provide great information to help your business succeed—all in one convenient location.”

A pre-event golf tournament Oct. 11 starts the sign show off with an emphasis on networking; that theme carries through to the exhibit hall floor. The National/Local Sign Company meet and greet happens on the show floor Friday afternoon, allowing local sign companies to form valuable associations with national companies. In addition, a Saturday morning breakfast on the exhibit hall floor will provide valuable time to connect with fellow sign companies, distributors, and manufacturers.

“Regional events like this are extremely valuable to our industry,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “In addition to all of the tremendous opportunities to see the latest products and services, taking advantage of networking will allow sign companies connections to grow their businesses.”

Registration for the Midwest-ISA Sign Show is now open at www.signs.org/msa. The website also includes hotel information and a schedule of events.
