The first Sign Industry Professional badges have been awarded to professionals who have demonstrated a comprehensive learning and an understanding of the broad skills needed within the sign, graphics and visual communications industry. The badges are earned by those who complete 70 percent of the available subject area badges offered through the International Sign Association.
ISA launched a new digital badge program and new learning management software on October 1, 2018 which has reinvigorated industry excitement for the online courses. 725 digital badges, and growing, have been awarded, and 145% more participants have purchased courses and company packages. 4 individuals have reached the highest level of participation, earning the “Sign Industry Professional” badge.

The 2018 Class of the ISA Elite program gathered at ISA’s offices in Alexandria, VA this week or a two day fall leadership retreat where they reviewed and discussed leadership styles. Each participant analyzed their own leadership style and left with a tangible action plan to grow and develop as strong leaders in the industry.
One of the most popular of the 15 available assessments is “21st Century Skills for Workplace Success.” The assessment measures proficiency in math, writing, work ethic and teamwork – the critical mix of knowledge and soft skills that are crucial for success in today’s work environment.
Upon completion of an online learning course, you will receive a digital certificate showing your proficiency to share on your resume or social profiles. Digital badges are a portable, verifiable and secure way to showcase the skills and competencies you have learned.
