Window Issues in Minnesota
On Aug. 3, ISA’s Kenny Peskin addressed the Saint Paul (Minn.) Business Review Council to explain the negative impacts of proposed window sign regulations. Working with the Saint Paul Chamber and Minnesota Sign Association, Peskin noted the incompatibility of the proposed ordinance with existing rules for temporary signs, nonconforming signs, and the City’s formula for measuring sign area. ISA and its industry partners will continue to work with the Business Review Council in preparation for City Council action later in fall 2011.
