ALEXANDRIA, VA – December 9, 2021 – From Lori Anderson, president and CEO of the International Sign Association:
“Along with my ISA members and colleagues, I mourn the passing of an industry giant and a personal friend. A little more than a year ago, we were celebrating Kevin Stotmeister as the 2020 recipient of the Kirk L. Brimley Distinguished Service Award, our industry’s highest honor. I’m so glad that we were able to gather virtually to let Kevin know the impact that he had on so many of us, and on our industry.
“Kevin was an obvious selection for this award. He had served ISA and the industry for most of his 40 years at Federal Heath. He served on the ISA board of directors and the California Sign Association board of directors. He also served on ISA’s national sign company division committee, as chairman of the government relations and statistics committees, and as a member of the international committee.
“He was a crucial player in helping ISA expand into an international organization and was a visionary for our industry and association.
“I know the profound impact he made on ISA, and I’m sure that many others in our industry would say he had a similar impact on them, too.
“We send our deepest condolences to Ellen, to his daughters and their families, as well as to all who loved him. Our industry is better because of his investment in it and his legacy will live on in the many he influenced.”
