Signage Showcased to 150 Community Planning Leaders
ISA’s Advocacy staff recently participated in the National Association of Regional Council’s (NARC) Annual Conference in Raleigh, N.C. NARC brings together regional planning council directors, regional redevelopment agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, and other regionally oriented leaders to advance regional cooperation in areas including transportation, economic development, public safety, and other community issues. ISA joined with other nonprofits, public works organizations, and code development associations in meeting with NARC conference attendees.
ISA’s Kenny Peskin (@signcodeguy) promoted ISA’s educational and training resources, highlighted key Signage Foundation research in urban wayfinding and temporary sign regulation, and advertised for October’s National Signage Research & Education Conference in Norman, Okla.
