Sign Industry Reaches Out to Planners in Reno
On March 19, planners in the Reno area, representing 9 Nevada jurisdictions, were educated by ISA’s James Carpentier and Mike Freeborg with YESCO. The luncheon presentation was sponsored by the Northern Section of the Nevada American Planning Association. Planners were able to learn about how to reasonably regulate electronic message centers (EMCs), economic considerations of EMCs and recent traffic studies which confirm that EMCs do not pose a safety hazard.
