Memphis Presents First Draft of the Downtown Sign Code
On April 26, 2012 Memphis held a workshop to obtain input on the first draft of design guidelines and a sign code for downtown Memphis. The workshop was attended by representatives of: the Mid South Sign Association, downtown business owners, Downtown Neighborhood Association, architects, and developer. ISA’s James Carpentier also attended the workshop. The consultants presented the first draft of the sign code and design guidelines. The presentation included the rationale and basis for the proposed regulations and guidelines. The Downtown Memphis Commission will accept comments on proposed sign code and design guidelines until May 17, 2012. For more information please contact [email protected].
