ISA Teams with International Downtown Association to Educate Downtown Developers
The International Sign Association recently met with Business Improvement District (BID) managers and other downtown developers at the International Downtown Association (IDA) Midwest Forum in Evanston, Ill. The group asked for access to the new Urban Wayfinding Manual and webinar series to educate its members on best practices in urban wayfinding. ISA’s overall goal with these wayfinding educational efforts is for the sign industry to serve as a valuable resource for the planning and implementation of these complex projects for planners and other key stakeholders.
ISA and IDA have teamed to offer both the Manual and the webinar series to downtown managers through the IDA website. IDA also lists open RFPs for branding and wayfinding projects that may be of interest to qualified sign companies. For more information about this and other outreach partnerships, please contact ISA’s Sapna Budev, Director of Strategic Initiatives.
