ISA Plans Education for Architects
Architects and design professionals have expressed an interest in education sessions developed by ISA members on certain aspects of the sign industry. During the AIA convention in Washington D.C., one subject area rose to the forefront. ISA will be developing a series of education sessions geared to this community, the first of which will focus on Sign Materials and Finishes. In order to ensure a more informed integrated design process, both architects and environmental graphic designers would like a solid foundation in understanding how to correctly specify signage. The first step is being conversant with the terminology, as well as exterior vs. interior, and the benefits and challenges of different materials. ISA members who would like to help develop and/or instruct in this curriculum may contact Sapna Budev.
