ISA Meets with Obama Administration

ISA Vice President of Government Relations David Hickey participated in a meeting with the Obama administration’s Special Assistant to the President for Manufacturing Policy, where he represented the sign industry’s interests before the administration.

Mr. Hickey was part of a coalition of trade associations that educated the Executive Branch officials about how regulations, taxes and the new healthcare law are impacting manufacturers. In addition to these general issues, Mr. Hickey also discussed workforce training concerns facing the sign industry and encouraged the extension of provisions in the tax code that benefit small businesses.

ISA will continue to meet with administration officials to raise awareness of the on-premise sign industry on Capitol Hill and to promote policies that benefit small businesses and sign companies. For more information, please contact David Hickey.
