ISA Helps Educate Planners in New York
Working in partnership with the Northeast States Sign Association and the New York State Sign Association, ISA is presenting at a daylong “Planning for Sign Code Success” seminar today in Albany, N.Y. Planners and code officials from 20 New York municipalities are learning about sign-construction technologies, effective treatment of EMCs, the economic value of signs to businesses and improving local sign ordinances. Speakers included ISA’s Kenny Peskin, Radwan Saade of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Ray Denault of Twin State Signs and Jeff Baumann of Electro-Matic. In 2011, ISA, its regional associations and the Signage Foundation have educated more than 100 planners on the value of on-premise signs. Moving forward into 2012, ISA, SFI and its regional associations plan an increased schedule of planner-education seminars. For more information, please contact [email protected].
