ISA Focuses on Lighting Industry Changes and Innovations at LIGHTFAIR
ISA’s Rich Gottwald attended LIGHTFAIR, the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference May 9-11 in Las Vegas. Over 500 suppliers to the lighting industry exhibited at the show. Key takeaways: (1) a focus on energy efficiency was evident in nearly every trade show booth, every product exhibit and in every educational session, and (2) by far, LEDs dominated the show, being used in a multitude of applications and products. Both of these findings will have present implications and opportunities for sign manufacturing and sign use in the coming months and years.
