Get Ready to Notify Your Employees!

Tomorrow, Friday, March 1, 2013, was the date that all businesses were required under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to provide written notification to their employees on the availability of individual health insurance exchanges, but the U.S. Department of Labor recently issued a guidance document delaying the implementation of this provision of the law. These insurance exchanges have been established under the health care law to provide a forum for individuals and small businesses to choose the coverage that best fits their needs.
