California Dreaming (and Planning)
Hundreds of planners in California are now better informed about sign ordinances. On September 13–16, the California Sign Association’s Roy Flahive and ISA’s James Carpentier exhibited at the California chapter of the American Planning Association (CA APA) in Anaheim, Calif. Nearly 1300 planners attended the conference, giving CSA/ISA a great opportunity to discuss sign code issues with planners and establish contacts with dozens of sign code officials.
An upcoming Planning for Sign Code Success™ event in San Diego (October 10, 2014) was also promoted at the show, as well as The Signage Foundation Inc.’s soon-to-be released research on temporary signs. For more information, please contact James Carpentier.
