Members of ISA-UK, powered by British Sign and Graphics Association, will see immediate benefits from the newly forged relationship, ISA president and CEO Lori Anderson announced today. Anderson made the announcement as part of the British Sign Awards held in Leicester, England.
ISA-UK, powered by BSGA, is an alliance that will focus on programs and projects that enhance the global sign, graphics and visual communications industry. The relationship becomes official January 1.
“ISA-UK will focus on the areas of most pressing concern for our members in North America and the UK,” Anderson said. “This is just the start of what we believe will be a long, beneficial working relationship as we seek to grow and improve this amazing, creative industry worldwide. The immediate benefits will help UK sign, graphics and visual communications professionals train their workforce, educate their customers and grow their businesses.”
In January, ISA-UK members will receive access to ISA’s industry leading training, including the ISA Online, On-Demand Learning System offering six tracks with 25 courses. When employees successfully complete the course, they will receive a digital badge demonstrating their skills and commitment to ongoing learning.
ISA-UK members also will receive access to the vast array of research from the Sign Research Foundation and ISA, allowing member companies to share these insights with clients and potential clients. Three immediate releases focus on digital printing, wayfinding in healthcare environments and consumer perceptions of retail signage. Additional co-branded research will be forthcoming.
“As we can see from the British Sign Awards, our members are creative and passionate about the sign, graphics and visual communications industry,” said David Catanach, BSGA Director. “These tools, thanks to the relationship with ISA-UK, powered by BSGA, will only help member companies grow their businesses and attract and train new workers.”
ISA-UK members receive member benefits that apply to all ISA members, including discounts on education and admission to ISA International Sign Expo 2019, held in Las Vegas. The event includes more than 600 exhibitors showcasing the latest products for the sign, graphics and visual communications industry. ISA International Sign Expo 2019 will be held April 23-25, with a pre-conference on April 22. Learn more at www.signexpo.org.
