States Approve Sign Installer Training
Educational programs for sign installers recently were approved by the states of Oregon and Washington as accredited continuing education units (CEUs. for licensed electricians.
Electricians in those states can take the two online learning courses developed by ISA and earn 3 CEU. towards license renewal. The courses are offered on demand as part of the ISA Sign Academy. The online courses are self-paced so students can take the material at times that are convenient.
The two courses that are approved for CEUs are Safety and Electrical Sign Installation. They are part of a five-part Sign Installers series which also includes training on Special Installations, Wall Signs and Freestanding Signs.
The online Sign Academy also includes courses on dynamic digital signage, architectural signage and integrating vehicle wrap design technologies into a sign shop.
