OSHA Withdraws Inspection Program
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration recently announced its decision to withdraw a proposed rule to amend its regulations for its On-site Consultation Program. OSHA withdrew the rule based on stakeholder concerns that the proposed changes would discourage employers from participating in the voluntary program.
The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy, with whom ISA has worked in the past, submitted comments in November 2010 voicing the concerns of small businesses with OSHA’s program.
