Need to Make Sense of Sign Code Issues? Watch these Animated Videos
To help give some understanding of the many factors that influence signs, ISA has developed an ongoing series of short animated videos on issues of importance to the sign industry. These introductory videos give some understanding to factors that influence signs. “Measuring Sign Area” is a basic introduction to the complexities of applying a measurement formula to irregularly shaped signs. Additional explanatory information is available in longer documents linked below each video. Other videos available include “5 Factors of Sign Visibility” and “Sign Height”. In the coming months, ISA will be adding videos dealing with measuring sign brightness, setback requirements, incorporating negative space, and permitted signs.
