Let UL Know What Issues Affect Your Business
Have you ever wanted the opportunity to speak directly to UL representatives and ask them about issues that concern you and your company? Now’s your chance!
The annual Electrical Codes & Standards Forum: Promoting Product Safety and Sign Company Success at the ISA International Sign Expo 2014 in Orlando presents the perfect opportunity. The three-hour session occurs at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24.
In order to promote product safety and to avoid issues affecting local approvals of electric sign projects, it’s essential that sign companies keep abreast of relevant electrical codes and standards. This year’s Electrical Codes & Standards Forum provides the opportunity to learn about current requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the UL48 Standard.
Additionally, this program affords the opportunity to interface directly with principals representing Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). This program and the contacts it provides enable sign professionals to be more successful by elevating their knowledge of best electrical practices.
The forum is one of several education sessions on regulatory issues during ISA International Sign Expo April 23-26. Classes will cover topics like temporary signs, sign variances and OSHA regulations. Click here to learn more about the full lineup.
