ISA, NSSA Educate Mass. Planners
ISA’s Kenny Peskin (@signcodeguy) and NSSA Board Member Bill Gavigan (Viewpoint Sign & Awning; Northborough, Mass.) served as featured after-dinner speakers to an audience of 70 Massachusetts planners on January 31. Invited to address the members of the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission in Pittsfield, Mass., Peskin and Gavigan presented updated information on understanding the purposes and functions of signs, as well as legal and policy guidance for updating sign ordinances. Peskin and Gavigan next will be joining an NSSA delegation in presenting an expanded daylong signage presentation to New England building officials in March.
