ISA, NSSA Educate 250+ Building Officials
On October 15, ISA’s Kenny Peskin (@signcodeguy) was a featured speaker at an Albany, New York meeting of municipal building inspectors. Peskin joined Northeast States Sign Association board members Bill Gavigan (Viewpoint Sign & Awning; Northboro, Mass.) and Jeff Bauman (@EMPHyperion; Electro-Matic Products; Farmington Hills, Mich.), as well as Darrin Conroy (NYS Small Business Development Center; Albany, N.Y.) in educating over 250 members of the New York State Building Officials Conference on sign construction technologies, the economic impact of signs, legal issues in sign regulation, controls of EMCs, and the process of developing sign codes. This appearance was the latest invitation built on a successful long-term relationship developed by NSSA and ISA with building officials and planners in New York and across the northeast.
