Importance of Signs – Major Discussion Topic During 2014 Small Business Day
Government officials and the sign and visual communications industry came together to discuss the importance of signs to the economic development of businesses and communities during 2014 Small Business Day.
State legislators and their staffs were educated on workforce development, energy costs, regulatory relief and how these issues affect a business’ bottom line.
Sponsored by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the event took place in Phoenix, AZ and provided an excellent opportunity for sign industry representatives from ISA and the Arizona Sign Association to network with like-minded organizations, including the Small Business Alliance (SBA) and NAIOP – the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
ISA and its affiliates are continuing to cultivate relationships with organizations like NFIB, SBA and NAIOP to reach new audiences of government officials and educate them about the sign and visual communications industry.
