Crane Training Deadline Is Quickly Approaching
The fine for non-compliance with OSHA’s Crane Operator certification rule is $7,000. As the November 2014 deadline approaches, ISA recently helped approximately 40 installers get certified. Twenty-one installers participated in training at Interstate Electric Company in Phoenix, Ariz., and 19 installers participated at Lauretano Sign Group in Terryville, Conn. All participants underwent three days of training on crane regulations and safe work practices and sat for NCCCO’s written and practical examinations.
