Architectural Design Education Coming to Orlando in 2014
Partnering for a new Design + Connections experience at the 2014 ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, Fla., the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) is working in collaboration with ISA to create an experiential learning environment for designers, architects, brand managers, sign companies and material suppliers. The SEGD will be launching an innovative workshop and several seminars in conjunction with ISA’s world class tradeshow and custom-designed Disney tours in Orlando, Fla. The new program with SEGD will build upon the 2013 ISA Sign Expo’s initiative which drew over 700 graphic designers and specifiers and sold out the education seats for the five architectural design sessions. This new collaboration will create 12 seminars, three networking opportunities, “design” tours of the exhibit hall, and reveal behind-the-scenes secrets of the Disney Imagineers.
