2025 ISA Wage & Benefits Report Shows Steady Wage Growth and Continued Hiring Momentum Across the Sign Industry

The 2025 ISA Wage & Benefits Report provides the most current and comprehensive view of compensation, benefits, and workforce trends across the sign, graphics, and visual communications industry.

Based on data collected from sign and graphics companies, the report highlights consistent wage growth, strong productivity metrics, and sustained hiring expectations across company sizes and regions. Participating companies reported average base pay increases in 2024 ranging from 3.0% to 3.9%, with similar adjustments planned for 2025, signaling stability in compensation practices despite broader economic uncertainty.

The findings also underscore the industry’s hands‑on nature. Eighty‑four percent of employees work exclusively on‑site, while hybrid and fully remote arrangements remain limited. Median revenue per full‑time equivalent employee reached $200,000, rising to $250,000 among the largest firms—demonstrating strong productivity as organizations scale.

Workforce expansion remains a priority. More than half of surveyed companies were in growth mode, with staff additions in late 2025 and into 2026.  These hiring plans coincide with continued investments in benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off across all employee types.

“The 2025 report confirms that the sign industry remains competitive, resilient, and committed to attracting skilled talent,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “This data gives employers and employees a trusted benchmark for understanding compensation trends and planning for the future.”

The full 2025 ISA Wage & Benefits Report includes detailed compensation tables for more than 60 salaried and hourly positions, executive compensation benchmarks, regional breakouts, and benefits data.
