ISA Opposes Proposed Regulations in Marion, Iowa
Last week, ISA filed comments in opposition to new sign regulations drafted as part of a comprehensive zoning ordinance in Marion, Iowa. As written, these proposals lack cross-referencing, fail to address numerous existing types of signage and have numerous content-based restrictions. Despite the efforts of ISA and local sign contractors, the ordinance passed the Planning & Zoning Commission and was returned to the City Council agenda.
