For the first time ever, a bill has been introduced in the U.S. Congress explicitly mentioning the on-premise sign industry and recognizing how our products benefit the economy. View House Resolution (H.Res) 1171, which congratulates “the on-premise sign industry for its contributions to the success of small businesses on the occasion of its 62nd annual International Sign Expo." This bipartisan bill was introduced on May 2, 2008, and was cosponsored by Rep. Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (D-SD) and Rep. Steve King (R-IA).
